SBI vs IBPS: what candidates should know

How to prepare your bank-exam photograph

1. Start with a recent colour passport-style photograph if the notification asks for one.
2. Use a light-coloured, preferably white background where specified.
3. Keep your face clearly visible and look directly at the camera.
4. Avoid shadows, blur, distorted faces, sunglasses and other prohibited items listed in the current notification.
5. Crop the photograph to the required composition.
6. Resize it to the exact pixel dimensions stated by your recruitment.
7. Compress it only after cropping and resizing so that it fits the permitted file-size range.

How to prepare your signature

2. Keep the signature natural and clearly visible.
3. Do not write the signature in CAPITAL LETTERS where the notification prohibits it.
4. Scan or photograph the signature clearly.

Do not substitute a different finger simply because it is easier. If the official instructions provide an exception for a missing thumb, follow that exception exactly.

Handwritten declaration
