How to cut a video
- Upload a video and use the player to find the section you want.
- Drag the start/end timeline handles or enter exact times.
- Preview the selected section and choose Fast or Accurate mode.
- Cut the video, preview the output clip, then download the MP4.
Fast vs accurate cut
Fast mode is available for compatible MP4/M4V inputs and copies streams without re-encoding, so it is quicker but the cut can start near a video keyframe. WebM and other formats automatically use Accurate mode, which re-encodes the selected clip to a compatible MP4 for more precise timing.
Large video note
This tool processes video in your browser and can use substantial memory. Large files are more reliable on desktop Chrome or Edge than on low-memory mobile devices.
